CDC continues to advice to stay home for 14 days after any person's last contact with a person who has COVID-19 however CDC provided options to reduce your length of quarantine period.
Length of quarantine period decision would be taken by local public health authorities. Below are options that they take to reduce your quarantine period.
😷 On day 10 without testing
😷 On day 7 after receiving a negative test result (test must occur on day 5 or later)
After stopping your quarantine one should
😷Watch for symptoms until 14 days after exposure.
😷If any one have symptoms, immediately self-isolate and contact local public health authority or healthcare provider.
😷 Wear a mask, stay at least 6 feet from others, wash their hands, avoid crowds, and take other steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
QURANTINE vs ISOLATION
🔘 Quarantine keeps someone who might have been exposed to the virus away from others.
🔘 Isolation keeps someone who is infected with the virus away from others, even in their home.
